The latch bolt is operated by the Door Knob from either side. Lock and unlock from inside with a thumb turn and unlocked from the exterior with a flat edge object (i.e. coin). The Door Knob features a tubular chassis, fits most standard doors measuring from 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" thick and has an adjustable latch compatible with doors with 2-3/8" or 2-3/4" backset. It is reversible and can be installed on right or left-handed doors for suitability. Great for light commercial and residential applications. Ideal for bedroom, bathroom or any room requiring a little privacy.</p>
