Pink bracelet on the left is gone … This stunning antique moonstone festoon necklace is English in origin and dates to the late Victorian / early Edwardian period circa 1900. It is in pristine condition. The moonstones are oval cabochons and bezel set on a spectacle chain. The chain is 925 sterling silver. There are a total of 17 moonstones in the necklace, ranging in size from the smallest round stone at 6.5mm (L) x 5.5mm (W) x 2.2mm (depth) to the largest oval stone (center stone) at 9.5 (L) x 7.5 (W) x 4mm (D). This classically beautiful necklace is all original and in excellent condition. No cracks noted in any of the stones which is highly unusual in a piece of this age for stones as delicate as moonstones. All of the stones are perfectly matched. All of them have a dreamy bluish hue. The total length of the necklace is 18.5 inches (47cm). The total weight of the necklace is 7.6 grams.
