1974 Hess Tanker Truck- w/ 2 Inserts, Collector Condition- Working Lights- Rare

Note to customer: How does one I tell the difference between a 1972 Tanker & a 1974 Tanker? You must look at the rear of the truck. On a 1972 Hess Tanker the catwalk extends to the end of truck & has a 1/16 inch lip separating it from the rounded back of the tanker. On a 1974 Hess Tanker there is no lip and the rounded back flows directly into the catwalk.

Chrome parts are bright with no fading
Has 2 mirrors, 2 air filters, ladder, horn, and smoke stack- complete
Decals on trailer & doors clear and legible
Tanker has a scuff on right side (see pic 4)
Battery compartment clean with no corrosion
All 4 lights front & rear glow brightly
Wheels spin freely with no obstruction
Hose in excellent condition- no cracks
Overall condition 9.9/10

Outer box has bright graphics, no fading
Bottom insert & top insert are original with minimal wear
No tears, rips, or smudges
