It’s the year 2857, mankind suffered immeasurable loss of lives when the climate became too harsh to keep most vegetation alive. Food was scarce. For 100 years, after the great purge, much of the remaining populous moved together in a new city - a city that was created to handle the environmental changes that had taken place decades earlier. The sun, having scorched the ozone layer, now looked unusually large without the ozone filter. The air is hot and noxious. The water on the shore of the city seems desolate, lifeless because most marine life died as ocean temperatures escalated.
