Roseville Pottery Silhouette Split Planter 757-9 1950s In Turquoise Relief

The Silhouette line by Roseville Pottery was a wonderful American art pottery conversion to the sleeker modern designs of the mid century. It seems to me that the molded relief in the center of each pot is a continual drawing that reaches from the bottom corner to the top corner in an intelligent and unexpected configuration. Roseville absolutely held their one upmanship in floral representation here. This pot is clearly marked and designated 757-9. Nine inches across and 5.5 inches tall. I see two small flecks at the base and some dirt marks but zero crazing. She marches neatly across the line into your Roseville collection or your mid century passion. Wrapped and shipped very carefully.
