20" long from end to end ~ metal pieces are 1.25" and the leather in the middle that contains a stone is 1"
No clasp--ties in back
One day in market in Nigeria, I came across the "traditional" market section where the old ways--herbs, natural remedies and amulets--were sold. Unfortunately, I couldn't completely make-out what the person said the purpose of each was. But generally amulets serve as protection against disease, theft and death... So this is not a tourist trinket.
Condition: Overall the necklace is in good condition with nothing broken or missing. The closure is knotted and could use some fortification or even a clasp added. Also, some oxidation on the metal pieces.
