This black velvet dress is such a classic! It's the perfect "little black dress", with flattering paneled waist and braided trim detail. The trim is made of a satin braided cording 3/8" wide. The bow is securely fastened and will not annoyingly come undone. This is a gorgeous velvet - very supple, a rich black. The dress is fully lined. Made by A. S. Costumes, Ltd. Very nicely constructed - high quality item you will be proud to wear and own. The compny was located in the United Kingdom. The fabric feels like silk, and smells like silk when burned but I cannot 100% guarantee the content of the fabric.
