What I have offered here today is a Very Lovely Golden Palomino art pottery made by Lane & Company in Van Nuys, California in 1952. This retro horse planter is marked on the bottom. This mid century piece must have been one of their earlier creations since they only operated out of Los Angeles for a few years before they moved to Van Nuys.
This Golden Palomino planter is outstanding with a glossy finish throughout. Check out the pictures of the horses mane and tail. This is highly detailed. Super nice with a fantastic retro look. The colors are golden and white with a black planter.
I believe this could be a rare find. If you enjoy mid century California Art pottery and horses then you will love this piece.
