This gorgeous Victor Costa for Nahdrée dress is such a standout vintage piece. It features a black lace bodice, a full structured skirt made of a taffeta- or satin-like fabric, and a built-in crinoline that gives it that classic, dramatic shape. It’s fully lined and beautifully made.
The dress has a deep V neckline in both the front and the back, sits slightly off the shoulders, and hits around the knee. Full zipper in the back with hook-and-eye closures.
The tag says size 8, but as a vintage 8, it does run small and the fabric has no stretch.
Overall, it’s in very good vintage condition, with just a little wear on the inside near the underarm — nothing visible when worn. Very clean otherwise with no stains, holes, or tears.
