Vintage Player’s Navy Cut Cigarette Tin
Fabulous old tin in rather rusty condition.
During WWII British military often carried these cigarettes as the tin offered protection for them. If you watched the recent TV movie, The Great Escaper, Bernie Jordan (played by Michael Caine) was, during Normandy invasion, given a message by a fellow serviceman packed in a Player’s tin. The last scene showed the tin that Bernie left at his grave in Normandy.
This vintage collectible tin features the iconic Navy Cut Tobacco brand was known for its high-quality cigarettes. Made in the United Kingdom. Great for the collector of tobacciana. Classic navy cut logo.
