For your consideration is this vintage Serving bowl that could be used to hold fruit, salad, or a lovely floral centerpiece. Seller was able to locate a photo of a sold comp with a manufacturer's label on it and has provided as a reference in the listings' photos. The bowl was made by RASTAL of Germany under their Noblesse line. That company now only produces drinkware. Seller was unable to find any advertisements or data to date it, but believes it to have been made in the early 1960s (changed name to RASTAL in 1959). It is similar in style to Blenko's Lotus glass bowls produced in 1961. This bowl is made of heavy and thick Amethyst Glass measuring 8mm thick and weighing 2 pounds 13.4 ounces. The shape mimics an organic form of a grape cluster, with indentions to the smooth top surface, and bulging to the stippled external surface. There are three feet extending from the bottom.
