Seller was unable to find an advertisement for proper dating, but believe the kit was manufactured and sold during the 1960s. The kit is housed in a plastic Jade Green "Jetson" style oblong case with a goldtone "SINGER" bar on the top. The part number for this kit is 489500 / 489510. The following pieces are included: (1) Beige Gold Buttonholer Apparatus embossed "USA / U.S. Patent No. / 2482607 / and 2536620 / or 2547925" on the bottom, (4) 1 1/16 Templates, (1) 5/16 Template, (1) 3/8 Template, (1) 5/8 Template, (1) Beige Woven Template Holder Pouch, (1) Slotted Clamping Screw, (1) Feed Cover Plate Screw, and (1) Small Black Plastic Piece marked "JAPAN" (Not sure if it actually goes with the set, but was inside when seller sourced it).
