Vintage Chalkware Charming Santa Claus Figurine Christmas decoration. Features a faint multicolor hand-painted design of Santa Claus with a toy bag, perfect for adding a retro traditional touch to your seasonal decor. Made of chalkware, this figurine captures the essence of the holiday season & is sure to delight collectors with its nostalgic appeal. I'm guessing this ages back to the 1940's according to online research. One that I found that is of this same figurine with different coloring has a date on the bottom of 1946. Measures approx. 5.25" tall, 2.25" left to right & 2" front to back. Vintage condition. Normal wear consistent with age. It looks like there's a chip on bottom, but it's hard to tell. I'm not sure what it looked like when new as I have seen these in different colors. This one looks like it was antiqued with a brown finish, but can also see light colors. See all of the photos to get a better understanding of condition. Still very nice for old chalk ware. Smoke free.
