Adidas D Lillard 1 "Yellow Tape" edition basketball shoes. The design is a custom colorway, not the standard "Rip City" edition.
The "Yellow Tape" design pays tribute to a motivational tactic used by Lillard's personal trainer, Chris Farr, during pre-draft workouts to signify that Lillard had put in so much work that the court needed to be "roped off".
This specific colorway was a fan-designed version that Damian Lillard wore in a game against the Golden State Warriors in March 2015. While the general D Lillard 1 model had a wider release, the "Yellow Tape" was initially a player exclusive, though the design was made available for customization via the Mi Adidas platform.
