Portieux Vallerystahl French? Art Glass Amber Footed Pineapple Candy Dish Box

This is believed to be a vintage Portieux Vallerysthal amber/yellow pineapple covered dish, also known as a bonbon or candy dish. It is UNMARKED.


Portieux Vallerysthal, is a renowned French glass company.


Features pressed glass in an intricate, embossed pineapple pattern, a lidded top with a ruffled edge, and a footed base with four scrolled feet. The pineapple is a traditional symbol of hospitality.

These pieces are generally dated to the late 19th to early 20th century, with some sources listing production around the 1900s to 1940s.

Vintage pieces may show some minor signs of age, such as slight roughness around the lid rim from the molding process.

This piece has rough edges under the lid rim but no chips or cracks.
