2 Vintage 1920s Thomas Sevres Bavaria Plates Hand-painted Pinks to Reds Floral, Both 7.5”. All Back-stamps present.
Thomas Sevres Bavaria plate, likely produced between 1908 and 1939. The design reflects the Art Deco period.
One is 3 shades of pink peonies and their buds against a soft, pastel green wash backdrop and worn gold rim.
Second Plate has 2 red to pink peonies and their buds also against that same soft, pastel green wash backdrop. These florals have many layered swirls of petals, typical of peonies. This plate also has an “H” signature on the back along with all the other back stamps.
