Circa 1920s Unique Metal Case Art Deco Period

Metal thin case with an engine-turned, vertically ribbed design, made around the 1920's. Cases like this were popular in the early to mid-20th century, especially during the 1920s/30s. Made in stainless steel, the case has also a "gate" to keep items in place and the latch works well.
Elegant lines on both front and back, with a space that could be engraved. Stylish piece, ideal for the safe storage of business cards, cash or even *gasp* cigarettes.
In good antique condition, with some scratches (pictured). Just goes to show its age and usefulness. With a good clean, is ready to use.
