This is a vintage Franciscan Ware teapot in the "El Patio" pattern, in the color "Golden Glow." The mark on the bottom indicates it was made by Gladding, McBean and Company, which introduced the Franciscan El Patio dinnerware line in 1934.
The "El Patio" line is considered one of the most important California colorware lines from the 1930s.
The teapot is made of earthenware and features a glossy, amber-colored glaze.
There is a chip under the spout as seen in the photos.
