I am selling my October Opal Barbie from the Birthstone Collection. This is a Collector Edition doll by Mattel.
She has long blonde hair and wears a shimmering, iridescent gown that shifts colors like a real opal. She wears a faux opal pendant on her necklace. The back of the box describes the opal as a symbol of hope, fidelity, and purity, and mentions the legend that opals can enhance psychic powers and give access to past lives.
Condition: The doll is new in box and has never been removed. However, the packaging has damage. There is a visible crack/split in the clear plastic window (please see the photo where I am pointing to the damage for close-up details). The cardboard also shows some minor shelf wear.
