This specimen of Maury Moss Agate features striking moss-like inclusions suspended in translucent to semi-translucent chalcedony, often with a pastel or smoky undertone. Sourced from the Maury Mountains of Oregon, these agates are highly prized for their vivid plant-like patterns and scenic structure.
Moderately rare. Though Maury Moss has been actively collected, high-grade pieces with strong contrast, clear chalcedony, and dense moss inclusions are getting harder to come by as old collecting sites are closed or picked over.
