Y2K 2000-2008 J.Crew SAMPLE trench coat, used for design approval—better constructed and sometimes feature details that never made it to stores.
Made from a crisp khaki cotton-blend with a structured silhouette, this trench features a wide rounded collar, double-button belt detail, front flap pockets, and that signature clean, polished J.Crew tailoring. The interior is marked “SAMPLE” in red, which is common for pre-production studio pieces.
One pocket button is missing. Light stain around collar, I believe to be a water stain. A couple small marks will come out. Otherwise excellent condition.
