Jordan 1 Mid Washed Denim (GS), 6Y

It has been almost four decades since Nike introduced the Air Jordan 1 to the world, but that hasn't stopped the brand from continuing to find new ways to reinvent it. The Jordan 1 Mid Washed Denim (GS) that was created in grade-school sizes was proof of that.

Almost all of the Jordan 1s that have been unveiled over the years have featured smooth leather uppers, but this one went in a decidedly different direction. It was partially covered in a denim material that made it look unique compared to other AF1s. At the same time, it also had other shades of blue worked into the sneaker with the University Blue overlays, in particular, finding a way to stand out next to the denim material used elsewhere.

But it was all the white accents found on the Swooshes, the Wings logos, the Jumpman logos, and the midsole that provided contrast next to the blue and really tied the sneaker's design together. This shoe was released on May 1, 2022.
