This is a new Polo Ralph Lauren tie with a vintage Strawbridge's retail tag still on the tie originally priced at $55. Strawbridge's was a Philadelphia area retailer that was sold to Macy's back in 1996. Retailers started using bar codes on price tickets in 1974. This tie, is at least 30 years old and up to 50 years old based on those two dates, but I am unsure of the date beyond that.
