Vintage 1989 St. Alphonsus varsity letterman jacket by MECA Sportswear, made in the USA, men's modern Large, measuring about 24" pit to pit (48" chest) and 24" length. Navy wool body with cream genuine leather sleeves, large chenille "A" patch on the front, "Pete" name embroidery, "89" year patch at the shoulder, and big St. Alphonsus P. Samp chenille graphic on the back. Quilted black lining, rib knit striped collar, cuffs, and hem. Jacket shows typical light softness/wear at the collar, cuffs, and bottom hem plus a small scuff near the bottom snaps, but no major damage—see photos for details. Great late-80s Catholic school letterman jacket with strong colors and classic varsity style.
