What a fantastic find! Offered here is yardage of vintage cotton (or cotton blend) fabric featuring a juvenile print of rural landscape complete with its inhabitants such as adorable cows and chickens. The fabric would be perfect used either for child’s clothing, linens, quilting or nursery décor. The color combination used in this design makes this material quite versatile.

The material is about shirt weight. The length of this fabric is almost 5 yards, (just 4" short), the width is about 36”. Due to the narrow width I would date this material back to the late 1950s or early 1960s. The overall condition of the material is good, but not pristine or excellent. While there are no structural issues or strong odors, some discoloration/spots (pictured in the last image) and a bit of darkening (especially along the fold lines) is present, as well as very slight dusty (nut must or offensive) smell. These issues likely could be eliminated with professional cleaning or a good soak.
