Beautiful antique biscuit jar (also used historically as a humidor) featuring etched floral glass and a sterling silver lid with early William B. Kerr hallmarks. The lid includes a utensil/cigar notch and displays desirable untouched, original patina.
Condition:
Overall great for its age. There is one small chip on the rim (shown clearly in photos). Lid has surface patina and age-appropriate wear. No cracks or other major flaws noted.
I have intentionally not polished the silver, allowing the next owner to choose their preferred finish. Many collectors value the original patina.
A charming collectible for display or practical use.
