Brand new and still factory sealed after more than 25 years.
Note the PlayStation-branded seal at the top of the case under the shrink wrap. There is a hang tab attached to the rear. This shrink wrap is not the type that features Y-folds at the corners, for whatever reason; instead, it has seams at the case sides. As you can see in two of the photos, there is a small slit in the shrink wrap and PS seal along the edge at the front top. There is also a very tiny hole in the wrap along the spine edge, which you can see in detail in the last photo. There are no cracks in the case.
