1860s Antique Cotton Doll Petticoat w/ Tucks & Hand Embroidered Trim White Ivory

This antique petticoat came off a doll from the 1860s. It has machine sewn tucks from waist down to hem. It was likely cut from a repurposed petticoat from mom or an older sister that had worn out and found new life on a child’s doll. The trim is hand embroidered ala broderie Anglaise with flower motifs. The workmanship is painstaking and beautiful. There do not seem to be any rips, holes, or tears in this garment. However, at 160+ years old, there may be something hidden which I did not immediately find. It does have an ivory patina and some discolorations on front and back, which is not uncommon with something that old. The waistband is sturdy and closes with a tiny shell button and thread shank. Please refer to photos for measurements (yellow measuring tape). Measurements indicate that this petticoat fits a tiny little 5” doll waist.
