New in sealed package. Date reads MCMLXXXII which is 1982.
“Snowfence”. This is a familiar sight in northern dairy farm country where the milk has to go out on schedule. Many winters ago farmers noticed the wind piled the snow deepest on the downward side of a fence and left a clean-swept area just beyond. They began putting up fences some distance upwind from their roads so the deep drifts would form there and leave the roads clear. So, every fall, along with storing the harvest and piling up the firewood, there is the chore of putting up the snowfences. An excellent stitchery in crewel yarn.
Kit Contains: Stamped picture on 100% cotton homespun approximately 20" x 24", Persian type yarn of 100% acrylic, needle and complete easy to follow instructions with diagram including most popular stitches. Frame is not included.
It will fit a 16” x 20” frame (~41cm x 51cm) or if using a 2” mat, frame size of 18” x 22” (~46cm x 56cm).
