Large vintage I.O.O.F. minute book for Solar Lodge No. 283 in Ohio, printed by C.E. Ward Co. of New London. Pre-printed Odd Fellows meeting forms with lined pages, partially completed in ink and pencil with lodge minutes dated from 1949 through 1952. Includes names of officers and members, votes, dues, and lodge business. Several loose pieces are laid in, including typed minutes, receipts, inspection forms and other lodge paperwork from the same period. Oversized ledger style book measuring about 14 inches by 8.5 inches. A nice piece of Odd Fellows and Ohio fraternal history.
Covers show moderate shelf and edge wear with some rubbing at corners and spine ends. Pages are toned from age with some ink and pencil smudging, occasional tape stains, and handling wear. Several loose sheets and tipped-in documents are present inside. Writing is legible throughout and binding remains sound. See pictures for further details on condition.
