Vintage 1940's Cocktail Dress from Claudia Young. Please see measurements for sizing/fit. Black lace layered over Cream acetate fabric, Black Velvet trim and muslin lining at skirt. Knee length Fit and Flare cut. Metal zipper at side. Straight neckline. Velvet trim and straps. Fitted bodice with skirt flaring at high hip or low waist. Lace layers sewn on stiff mesh at skirt. Added muslin layer also gives structure. This would be fabulous with a couple petticoats underneath. In Great condition with minor or subtle fading at top of velvet, reinforced stitching at straps, and water mark at skirt lining. Flaws do not affect wear or presentation. Please inspect photos to see condition. Shown on 5'11" size 4/6 mannequin. Measurements taken laying flat and doubled where appropriate.
