Chromexcel is oil leather made by Horween.
It's made using a method developed almost 100 years ago, called combination tanning, where a special blend of oils, including beef tallow, beeswax, vegetable oil, and fish oil (four or more types of oils in total), is applied and infused into the leather.
Sheep leather is used on the back for a soft feel against the skin.

Both leathers are finished naturally to bring out the original texture of the natural leather.
