This is a piece of fabric that was preserved at my grandparents' home, where they ran a weaving business in Tokamachi.
It's made of pure silk (100% silk) and feels very soft against the skin. The fabric is incredibly smooth.
Tokamachi was known for its thriving weaving industry, rivaling Kyoto, and its high-quality fabrics were highly sought after.
As times changed, my grandparents had to close their factory. However, if there's someone who would still like to use this fabric, I would be happy to consider selling it.
