I love vintage fashion and tend to buy things that I think are cute, but I keep the ones I really like and enjoy rotating them every year (⁠◠⁠‿⁠・⁠)⁠—⁠☆

I bought this at a long-established vintage clothing store two years ago for 28,000 yen.
I've worn it three times.

The "553" stamp on the back of the Levi's button indicates the San Benito factory in the United States. This factory was responsible for producing 501 jeans during the period generally referred to as the "final US model."
The San Benito factory is located in San Benito, Texas, USA.
This factory was one of the last factories where Levi's manufactured its products in the United States.
In 2003, Levi's closed the last two remaining factories in San Antonio (including the San Benito factory), which ended the production of 501s by its own manufacturing in the United States.

Jeans with the "553" stamp on the back of the button were mainly manufactured from the late 1990s to the early 2000s and are known as the final American-made Levi's model, and are considered to have a rare value in the vintage clothing market.
Levi's has since resumed domestic production in the United States using external partner factories for specific high-end lines and the "MADE IN THE USA" collection, but in-house production ended in 2003.
