This is a reproduction of the 1890 model when the 501XX began to be used as a lot number. The leather patch features the familiar Two Horse mark, and the lot number 501XX began to be used. There is only one back pocket on the right side, and the Arcuate stitch is an old specification that does not cross in the center due to a single-needle sewing machine. The slightly different shapes are due to manual work. At that time, belt loops were not yet used, and the waist was adjusted with suspenders or a cinch back. The fabric is white selvedge, not red selvedge, indicating that it was before the use of Cone Mills. The silhouette of the time, called waist overalls, is also characteristic.
