Vintage jumping jack holiday ornaments figural toys soldier noble man folk art

This listing is for a sweet folk art inspired jumping jack ornaments/toys. They came from two different sources and likely were created by different manufacturers. They measure 8 1/" and 9" in height respectively (just the wooden parts). The soldier is fully functional and shows just slight paint loss on the surface. On the fancy noble man rocking it appears that part of the string has separated from the leg joints, so only the arms move, and the movement is sticky. If you know the mechanism how these parts work, it would be a simple fix. There is very slight paint loss on the piece as well, but nothing too noticeable.
