Hand painted, Vintage Santa Luminary.

This Luminary Santa has been out on the snowi, delivering gifts to children all night. His blue coat and hat have sparkling snow, accumulating upon them. Yet his walking stick can help him along, as well as the comfort of his old trusted pipe. I HAVE PAINTED CERAMICS, since I was 5 years old. I never portray my pieces the same way as tradition will expect. In choosing blue for his robes, I was hoping to express and direct the view , to understand the cold environment, where, Santa is , as well as to direct the eyes to see the snow that has dusted his garments. A light cord is necessary to illuminate this ceramic Santa, or a string of lights will work, as I am using , to demonstrate illumination. 9.5 inches tall,, 7 inches wide.. I painted this luminary in 2019, and I put him in a box and found him this year. These forms were sold, unpainted, in 2002 or 2003. . Thank you for supporting my art.!!
