RARE 1960s Shiba Japan Vinyl Hawaiian Hula Dolls Girl & Boy Complete Tiki MCM

This charming pair of vintage 1960s Shiba Japan hula dolls brings classic island souvenir style to any collection. Both dolls were made in Japan and feature the signature Shiba look with big expressive eyes, bright smiles, and warm vinyl tones.

The boy has jointed arms and legs, rooted brown hair, a floral-print wrap, and a fuzzy green lei. The girl has long black hair with a flower clip, a red top, faux grass skirt, and a soft yellow lei. She also includes a hanging loop, originally used for display as an ornament or rearview mirror charm. Both pieces show lovely mid-century craftsmanship and that unmistakable retro tiki-era charm.

Overall very good vintage condition with light age wear to outfits and hair consistent with their age. No major cracks or damage noted. A wonderful set for collectors of Hawaiian souvenirs, Japanese vinyl dolls, or mid-century kitsch.
