Lovely vintage Italian angel or cherub wall hanging decor from 1984, signed Simonetti. This adorable wall angel is playing the banjo - there were various of these figures made with musical instruments, from Italy, marked Depose.
Showcases exquisite craftsmanship. Its delicate features and detailed wings, combined with a serene expression, encapsulate an aura of tranquility. The cherub's gentle embrace of a banjo adds a musical touch, making it a charming collectible piece. Made of a very hard hand painted resin material (made to resemble ceramic).
It is in good condition with no chips or cracks. But it does show its age with quite a bit of paint loss and patina, making it even more quaint for a vintage holiday decor setting.
