Awesome set of 10 vintage 1970's Christmas cards by the Pittsburgh-based American company Papercraft Corporation which went bankrupt in the 1990's. These cards are branded "Kaycrest" "Cotillion Cards" & "Beaux Arts Edition". Quite a mouthful, but these cards are worth it! Design is of a plump Santa with a coiled embossed 'yarn' beard holding a candle lantern in his mittened hand. He has a holly embellishment on his hat & black boots. So cute! The outline & flowers are all embossed as well & amazingly, the little polka dot flower centers are all gold metallic as well as his boot buttons & lantern scallops. They really knew how to make greeting cards back in the day! "With all good wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year". 10 plain white envelopes. Cards 4.75"x6.7"
