Vintage MCM Kitschy Deer Pair 2 Porcelain Bambi Fawns Anthropomorphic Figurines

2 RARE vintage porcelain figurines of deer or fawns, commonly made by Napco , Thames or Lefton in Japan during the mid-century era.
These both have the same makers mark (just of different style) - unable to identify the brand- but it appears to be a G & U intertwined , marked ‘ Made in Japan’ underneath.

They are characterized by their white, often iridescent, glaze and anthropomorphic design.
The figurines feature gold gilt accents on the hooves and ears, and applied delicate pink porcelain roses or flowers.
