This unique vintage Maddux of California, hand-inscribed, mid-century, MCM, divided dish/ashtray, vintage pottery in vibrant orange and red colors is in good preloved condition, please see photos. I don’t really see any flaws, other than one little spot on the glaze on the front, shown in pictures. In my opinion, much more vibrant and beautiful in person. 8” across.
Google told me this that piece was almost certainly made between the 1950s and 1970s, as it lines up with when Maddux was most actively making hand inscribed marked pieces, usually in smaller studios doing smaller runs.
Perfect for collectors, smokers, or as a decorative piece. So pretty!
