This is an antique machine made tapestry featuring a scene of a farmer couple with cows and ducks. The tapestry is monochrome in tones of brown and tan.
Difficult to date, but most likely turn of the century, circa 1900.
The tapestry itself measures 12 1/2” by 17 1/4”. With a with a lovely sewn lace frame, it is good quality and stamped FRANCE on the back, this piece is a bit faded, but in overall excellent antique condition. Would be wonderful to frame and give as a gift to a collector.
