Beautiful framed vintage Royal Paris needlepoint depicting “The Angelus” by François Millet. This hand-stitched piece was completed in July 1981 and professionally framed by Compton’s Frame Shop in Fort Worth, Texas. The artwork features warm earth tones and a classic pastoral scene, making it a perfect statement piece for traditional, French country, rustic, or vintage décor styles.
The piece is set in a gold-tone wooden frame with glass front. Some minor cosmetic imperfections are present on the frame, consistent with age (light scratches, one hanging nail missing). Needlepoint itself is clean and in excellent vintage condition.
