I find this set to be a conundrum. The teapot is marked Czechoslovakia on the bottom. The creamer and sugar containers are marked Germany and signed by the same artist. If I remember my history correctly, I would have to guess that this set was made in the late 1940s to the early 1950s. This is a beautiful collection of the period. Here is your opportunity to own a true piece of world history. All pieces are in extremely good shape. PLEASE NOTE: I sold this set but the buyer requested a refund because she found the spout of the teapot to have a chip and I did issue a refund. It was returned in the same shape in which it was sold and mailed; however, I did run my finger over the spout and still did not feel anything. My husband found it by running the tip of his fingernail; if he hadn't been able to find this I would have never discovered it.
