Lovely vintage turquoise necklace from 1970's. Robin egg blue color with heavy dark matrix veining on stones is the hallmark of the Morenci mine. This mine produced some of the most prized turquoise in the 20th century. Largest nugget is .75" x 1/2". Clasp is traditional Navajo silver hook and eye with silver beads.
My mother purchased this in the 1970's - selling as we are helping her downsize her house. Very good used condition.
Necklace is 22" long and the weight is 69g.
