Vintage Nepal/Tibet Silver Ring with Coral, Turquoise, and Canetille Filigree
This captivating vintage ring is an authentic piece of tribal jewelry, characteristic of the work from the Nepal or Tibet region, featuring traditional materials and intricate craftsmanship. The ring is set with vibrant cabochons of Coral and Turquoise. Notably, one of the original turquoise stones has aged naturally, shifting from its original blue to a deep, rich green and presenting a slightly greasy feel, indicating the stone's age and natural change from skin oils and exposure. Not marked but tests as sterling.
While technically marked as a size 7, due to the substantial width of the band and the design, it will likely fit more comfortably as a size 6. The ornate face of the ring measures approximately 3/8" wide.
