Jude Clarke Artisan Jewelry Brutalist Pendant Ornament Sterling Silver Glass

Brutalist style metalwork pendant/ornament by jewelry artist Jude Clarke. The sterling silver art deco style housing is engraved and has two red glass stones mounted to it. It also has an orange pointed dongle hanging from the inside that tinkles lightly when hitting against the sides, like a little bell. I could not find her signature on the piece.

You could remove the ribbon and add a jump ring to the loop so it could be worn on a chain. This is for the pendant/ornament only.

Jude’s work is made from precious metals, primarily sterling silver, and gemstones. Her metalwork comes from a background in sculpture, painting and printmaking, and her fascination with tiny mechanical parts. Originally from New York, in 1982 she moved to Tucson where she studied applied arts. She was an artist in residence in Montreux, Switzerland and studied traditional metalworking in Michoacán, Mexico. Since 1992, she has concentrated exclusively on her own metalwork and jewelry.
