This is a 1997 compact digital camera that features 300,000 pixels, 10x zoom, and records to a floppy disk. It's the first generation of the Digital Mavica.
When you think of Sony cameras, you might think of the α or Cyber-shot, but don't forget the Digital Mavica!

The Digital Mavica, which recorded to floppy disks and made it easy to transfer photos to a computer, was revolutionary in 1997 (before USB was widespread!).
Isn't it nostalgic to use a floppy disk, which is slow to read and write and makes a unique sound?! By the way, you can take about 20 photos on one floppy disk. They are in JPEG format.
Regarding Transferring/Smartphone Transfer:
You can use the USB floppy disk drive to transfer photos. You can connect directly to an Android smartphone, but iPhone users will likely need to use a computer.
