I found this while cleaning out my parents' house.
My ancestors were in business, so I believe this may have been a storage chest used during that time.
The drawers are designed to be pulled out from either side.
I had an antique dealer look at it, and they said that because it uses wooden pegs, it was likely made in the Taisho era or earlier, but the exact age is unknown.
Please check the images carefully, as there are stains, scratches, paint loss, and wormholes.
I haven't done any special cleaning, just dusted it and wiped it with a damp cloth. I will ship it in this condition.
